Course Description
Do you have an interest in teaching experiential learning? Enrolling in the Cooperative Education Part 1 AQ will provide candidates with an overview of the Cooperative Education program as well as opportunities to learn about the basic roles, responsibilities, foundations and skills associated with teaching experiential learning. In addition, this course will allow candidates to connect with colleagues to discuss issues and ideas from various boards and geographical regions of the province. At the conclusion of the course, candidates will be prepared with many of the necessary teaching and learning strategies to navigate this unique program. Teachers holding qualifications in technological education are also eligible to take this Three-Session Qualification course.

Prerequisites for Part 1:
- Certificate of Qualification:
Must be a registered member of the Ontario College of Teachers.

Any exceptions and additional requirements are noted below.
- Part I courses do not lead to a divisional entry on the Ontario College of Teachers' Certificate of Qualification. See Primary, Junior/Intermediate, and Senior Basic Qualifications.
Recommendations
Successful completion is a final grade of C-
Upon successful completion of the course, a recommendation will be sent to the Ontario College of Teachers.
