Coaching is an integral component of learning development practices and is a critical skill for developing, engaging, and advancing professionals in the workplace. For workplace leaders, applying effective coaching methods can advance not only the capacity and capability of a team but also the capacity and capability of a leader. Upon completion of this program, you will be able to apply Brief Coaching techniques to a variety of contexts by leading all phases of a coaching engagement.

Who is this program for?
The Brief Coaching certificate program is designed for professionals across all sectors who wish to advance their knowledge and practice in coaching, including:
Workplace Learning: People managers, Learning/OD consultants, Executive coaches, Freelance/Independent consultants
Post-Secondary: Student life professionals, teaching & learning support centre professionals, HR, and organizational development teams
PK-12: School principals, principal-coaches

How the program works:
This program includes three core courses, taken sequentially, each 24 hours in duration with a blend of in-class and online delivery (see each course listing for details)

Complete all three compulsory course offerings to achieve an OISE Continuing and Professional Learning Certificate of Completion.



Graduates of this program who wish to pursue a professional designation may continue their certification preparation through the Canadian Centre for Brief Coaching for the International Coach Federation (ICF) and Canadian Council of Professional Certification (CCPC).
